POLITICAL GRAFFITI TO BE REMOVED FROM HOSPITALS. JAM MEHTAB HUSSAIN DAHAR Karachi, November 20: Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed the administration of public hospitals to remove political banners, flags and graffiti from the premises of hospitals, moreover the premises of hospitals should not be used for political purposes. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his office on Thursday. He directed that conducive atmosphere for the patients be evolved so that the proper Health Services could be dispensed. He further directed to treat the patients humanly and extraordinary care should be taken for the medical treatment of the patients. Minister Health further said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has given clear directions that provision for free of cost medicines must be ensured, in this regard any negligence would not be tolerated. Beside this Sindh Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while taking serious notice of non availability of gynaecologist in Civil Hospital Umerkot, has directed Special Secretary Health to immediately appoint Lady Gynaecologist in Umerkot Civil Hospital in order to redress the problems of the pregnant female patients. Provincial Health Minister also took notice of flowing polio drops on the ground in certain areas of Karachi by polio workers during polio campaign and directed the authorities concerned to take strict action against these workers who showed criminal negligence.
