POLITICS... How UKIP benefit the Tories... The Tories are seen as an elitist party with little working class appeal. The Labour Party have traditionally been the party of working people but now lack credibility. The LibDems became unelectable once they formed their coalition with the Tories and went against the wishes of their core vote. UKIP are a party of populist policies that appeal broadly to the non political class and working people who are disaffected with politics. They will mop up votes left to them in the coming election by an ineffective Labour Party and a decimated LibDem party. UKIP and The Tories will be in a position to form a coalition after the next election to allow coalition austerity politics to continue with the suggestion of a mandate and a huge leap further right. More privatisation, more benefit cuts, more fracking, more xenophobia...
