POLITICS, TO SERVE OR TO BE SERVED: Why should we abandon the delicate role of choosing who to represent us politically. The people should have a say and inputs to reduce the incident of scheming, handpicking of delegates to party primaries and announcing results before the actual election; today the primary objective is not to serve the people but wealth and money. Political parties and godfathers now choose vagabonds and never do wells, who happens to have access to money and perhaps access to power brokers. They sponsor and throw up job seekers and enter into agreement to share the spoils of office.
