POLITICS: Wike insists Gov Amaechi is set to dump PDP for APC LEGISREPORTS NG: As the high powered delegation of the APC visits Rivers State today as part of its political strategy to lure Governor Chibuike Amaechi into its fold, the supervising Minister of Education Nyesom Wike has accused Governor Amaechi of making last minutes strategy to dump the PDP. Speaking at the inauguration of the GDI in Alesa Eleme LGA, Nyesom Wike said the Governor is planning to finally dump the PDP is an indication of his inconsistency having vowed never to leave the party for any one. He further said the PDP in the state will organise a special thanksgiving service to appreciate the Governor’s exit. “What you must know before now, your Governor has told you lies that nobody will make him to leave PDP, but today the same Governor has told his people to go to the Airport and receive the APC Leaders, does that one show a Governor who is consistent, its unfortunate some people tell you they are not interested to be this and that, what we want them to do is to officially announce that they have left the PDP” he said.
