POLLO-LIFELINE DOG RESCUE Yet another news interview today. For some reason the audio is not working on their website, but the pictures speak for themselves. Pollo is obviously resting comfortably and is being treated like a princess by the awesome staff and doctors at VHA Vet Hospital. She is getting water syringed to her and is eating mushy food, hand-fed to her. She is still very heavily medicated for her pain so she can sleep and let her body do a little more healing on its own until her first surgery Friday to repair her jaw. You will see an x-ray in this interview that shows the extent of her hip/pelvic injuries. That will be her next surgery and we will keep you updated as to when that will happen. She is very much on the road to recovery and the kind, gentle, loving whispers and touches are helping her broken heart heal as well. The swelling over her eye is much better today, which makes it a little easier for her to show us her AMAZING green eyes. She is reaching out with her paw as any of our Weim babies would just to touch us and be close. Just keep going beautiful girl.
