POOR HANDSOME PISA UNFAIRLY GIVEN NEW HOPE RATING BECAUSE HE BIT - TopicsExpress

POOR HANDSOME PISA UNFAIRLY GIVEN NEW HOPE RATING BECAUSE HE BIT THE SCARY FAKE HAND!!! Firstly, when PISA first arrived at the ACC, all was fine. He was friendly and sought attenion. That was back on 12/29. Then, as any intact male cat would be, locked up in a cage and frustrated, and having an animal control officer pet him, perhaps after having petted another cat, PISA went to bite-but this could well have been a combination of frustration and being caged n a strange place with other cats around. It makes no sense as PISAS Evaluator goes on to say this of PISA: Reaction to touch: Pisa allows the stroke, purrs in place, rolls over and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Toy or Novel Object: Shows interest and plays with his toy. Reaction to Being Picked up: Pisa calmly jumped out of the assessors arms. Placement determination: Average Pisa interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. PISA NEEDS YOU TONIGHT! Hes a cat, not a tiger, or panther, or lion. Hes a young mancat tormented by people he doenst know, in a place with strange sounds and smells. This guy would be fine, once he got into a home and got settled in, and neutered. He sounds like hes doing normal young mancat things by letting the ACC know hes not scared of them-but he should be becuase they plan on killing this handsome boy-who purred for them originally-they will kill him tomorrow as a matter of fact. Dont let that happen-dont be afraid of a cat whos done nothing wrong but responded to stress. SAVE PISA now!!! He is a good cat who needs you!
