POP IN TO THE POPUP! We have opened a pop-up space in one of the few remaining vacant shops on Beach Road, and we want to get your ideas for the area’s future. As part of our placemaking and economic growth and investment strategies, Shop 1A at 39 Beach Road will be used as a creative space to engage with residents and local businesses to build a bank of ideas and opportunities to activate and enhance the area. Come on down and write on our idea wall – what would you like to see happen on Beach Road? Our first event is a Skateboard Swap Meet occurring daily from today to Friday this week, and we welcome you to visit the pop-up between the hours of 9am and 5pm daily. In the coming weeks we will also host other events including art exhibitions, music performances, a wine tasting and even a tomato sauce making event! Keep an eye on Facebook for further details.
