PORK LOVERS: GOOD TIME TO STOCK UP We gave you heads up last week, but today FoodMarket reports that some fresh pork cuts, including our boneless loins and bellies (from which bacon is produced) have seen wholesale prices jump on average 50% since the beginning of February. In fact, wholesale prices have shot up so fast they have nearly caught up with the retail prices being currently advertised this week at some supermarket chains. As always, we will do everything possible (without compromising quality) to avoid passing higher prices on to you. However, our customers who have extra room in their freezers may want to consider stocking up on their favorite pork selections now to avoid higher prices that appear to be inevitably coming by summer.
