Professional / Tertiary Degree or 3 Year Diploma in IT or related field 2.EXPERIENCE (Minimum necessary before being considered for the Job) •5 years IT experience •5 years server hardware experience •5 years basic network experience •5 years Microsoft server application experience – MS Exchange, SCCM, Forefront, SharePoint •5 years firewall experience, preferably Checkpoint •5 years antivirus, intrusion protection and web access experience – preferably Symantec •3 years Pandora printing solution experience •3 years’ experience in NHBRC or similar institute •5 years ERP environment experience, preferable Siebel Oracle and some SAP will be a bonus 3.TRAINING (Essential training received in addition to the above experience to perform the job). •Degree/ Diploma/ IT certifications •MCSE, A+, N+ •MS Exchange, SCCM, Forefront, SharePoint training •SAP training •IT Project experience 4.CORE COMPETENCIES •Degree/ Diploma/ IT certifications •MCSE, A+, N+ •Good MS Exchange, SCCM, MS Service Centre, Forefront, SharePoint experience •Good all round IT knowledge •Good ERP working Knowledge •Building and Government experience •Project Knowledge Key Performance Areas Key tasks 1.Manage Server Application environment •Manage the NHBRC Server application environment implementation projects. •Evaluate, install, configure, support and manage the server application environment. •Establish, configure, support, manage, performance tune and issue resolution of whole server Application environment. •Establish daily, weekly and monthly system checklists and reporting. •Manage Microsoft Active Directory. •Manage end user IDs and mailboxes. •Establish, manage and test application failover and fail back, including to DR site. •License management. •Version and patch management Maintenance and Change Management •Backup management and testing. •Assist with server hardware. 2.Ensure compliance •Comply with Microsoft application standards and best practices. •Comply with all application and application vendor standards •Ensure full up to date documentation of server application environment. •Ensure high availability at all times. •Security management. 3.Manage Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity •Establish server application Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity environment. •Document and test all applications and failovers. •Develop and maintain relevant policies, procedures, operational manuals. •Recovery. 4.Training material •Compile and maintain business, technical and training documentation (electronic and hard copy). •Assist with user training.
