POSITION: SCHEME BOOKKEEPER (Temp Position) LOCATION: JOHANNESBURG DEPARTMENT: FINANCE MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION To assist with the preparation of the Scheme’s monthly management accounts by preparing and processing journals and trial balance reconciliations. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Processing of EFT, Cheque payments, deposits and bank charges on SAP. • Weekly reconciliation of the Cash Book. • Weekly reconciliation of Scheme’s bank account. • Preparation and processing of all journals. • Monthly preparation of Broker commissions. • Monthly preparation of general ledger reconciliation’s. • Preparation and reconciliation of monthly membership figures for invoicing • Assist with preparation of daily cash management. • Preparation of Audit schedules. • Ad hoc bookkeeping functions.
