POSITION UPDATE: OBERLIN, KANSAS. Hoping Greg was able to get an air pump somehow and move-on. Not only did he have one of his (common) flat tires on his cart, but the air pump he bought recently at a WalMart had failed. The small town of Oberlin, Kansas didnt seem to have a pump in a store or cans of flat-fix, and no bicyclists were in sight. Other stores were closed for Sunday. Not only does he want to fill the tire, but wisely doesnt want to leave town without having a working pump with him. Last I heard he was asking people, trying to find someone who might have a pump in their basement or garage that he could buy. Nobody so far even knows anyone with a bicycle! he quipped. Will see.
