In this client-focused role you will be performing assessments, developing Employment Pathway Plans, training & providing ongoing support. As well as managing a caseload of clients, you will be required to liaise with schools, other agencies and employers to successfully provide the level of service that is required to support our clients needs. Each situation can be different therefore we are looking for people who are able to quickly develop positive working relationships. Key responsibilities for this position include: •The identification and pro-active management of job seeker vocational and non-vocational barriers •Liaison with relevant stakeholders including employers, treating practitioners, community support services and other service providers •Organising appropriate interventions and strategies to find and maintain employment· •Employer engagement, support, and education •Ongoing support to job seekers throughout their return to work to sustained employment •The ability to manage a caseload and achieve targets •Have personal values align with those of the organisation and industry •Demonstrated flexibility and enthusiasm for addressing unexpected new challenges at short notice •Hold a current QLD drivers license Want to be part of this high performing team? They are responsible and accountable for their own work, which is performed within established routines, method and procedures. This includes paper based filing and electronic timely progress reporting lodgments. The principal function of their employment is to deliver non accredited prevocational training to participants however additional training may be requested within the qualifications of the trainer. The employee is to train all course participants in the skills as set by the company by means of personal instruction and demonstration. The training ethos should be ethical, legal and foster inclusive learning strategies that meet the cultural needs of a diverse student cohort. Authority and Responsibility Plan and deliver training programs where qualified and as authorised by management. Reports to •CEO Required Qualifications Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (minimum) An industry qualification no less than equal to that level willing to deliver Required Capability and Experience •Minimum 3 years experience in the training industry •Suitable experience in training areas •High level of written and oral communication skills.
