POSSIBLE WINTER WEATHER EVENT FOR THANKSGIVING EVE INTO THANKSGIVING DAY..... A strong Coastal Low is in the forecast for Wednesday into Thursday morning... attached are the official initial briefings from the National Weather Service issued today, Sunday 11/23. There is some variability in the amounts of snow possible, however, WIND will also be an issue, and likely to affect travel conditions. We will post more as this event gets closer. For now, most of the region can expect the possibility of snow, with greater amounts away from the shore (I-95 Corridor and West / Northwest). Snow amounts, are obviously subject to change as the forecast tightens up.
