POST 33/96 : COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT POLICY MANAGER YOUTH REF NO: SD/2014/7/P SALARY : R577 017 per annum (all inclusive packages) CENTRE : Head Office REQUIREMENTS : 3 year tertiary qualification in community development or related fields. 10 years’ supervision experience as a Community Development Supervisor/ Policy Developer. Knowledge and understanding of legislative and policy frameworks, procedures and processes regulating integrated community development. Knowledge and understanding of community and household structure, assets and development priorities. Knowledge and understanding of departmental community development priorities and commitments, procedures and processes. valid driver’s license. Skills and Competencies: Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Sound Planning, organising and coordinating skills. Excellent Interpersonal, report writing and numerical skills. Passion for community development programs. DUTIES : Design youth development programmes. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of youth development programmes. Provide guidance to regions on implementation of youth development programmes. Mange youth development, outreach, social change and inter- generational programs, prepare and submit performance reports. Manage staff leave, staff development and performance.
