POSTDOCTORAL POSITION Laboratory of Dr. Pamela Stanley Albert Einstein College Medicine, New York A POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP is available in Pamela Stanley’s lab at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York to identify specific roles for glycans during spermatogenesis. The Stanley lab has shown that complex N-glycans are essential for spermatogenesis, and also identified a novel inhibitor of complex N-glycan synthesis that is proposed to regulate spermatogenesis. Mutant mice have been developed to identify specific roles for N-glycans and the functions of the novel inhibitor during spermatogenesis. Applicants should have extensive expertise in molecular and cell biology, developmental biology, and using mouse genetic models. First author publication(s) in peer-reviewed, English language journals are necessary.
