POSTED IN FRANK NOLANS PAGE: Last Night From Frank Nolan: So this small groups malcontents in the town is attacking one of my fellow council members, her family, volunteer groups like the fire department, our police department and just about anything else you can name. When you go on a shameless self promoters Facebook page after he and many of the other malcontents did their attacking to say a few facts,,,,surprise surprise the posts disappear. What happened to the cries for free speech free speech. The same thin happened to us during the election of 2013. Keep in mind most of these people bring anything to the table including a job or supporting their kids. RESPONSES: Gary Branin: I need to talk to you for real!! Billie Jo Moskowitz: Frank Nolan you are always going to have people talk about one another. Most the Times it is lies. Dont have any idea what is going on. Let me first say that I understand how you( and the rest of the council ) may feel attacked. And, Yes I have seen a lot of name calling of sorts. But, if you take the time to look beyond the name calling and look at the root of the concerns, its quite simply that a lot of the people want to know what is being done to restore the town. To me it seems a lot like a child trying to get the attention of their parents, first they call out, then they yell and finally they get angry and throw a tantrum. And that what a lot of the negative comments on the Facebook page sounds like, a tantrum. Since the storm the people of this town have been starving for information. This town has so much it has to restored, rebuild or replace. The sewer system, flood mitigation, what is being done with the boro hall, and the list goes on. There has to be a constant flow of information to the people of this town. I would think a weekly post on a Facebook page, an e news letter, anything is better than nothing. I know that this is not something that should sit solely on you but, the town needs to implement some kind of communication. If information flows the name callers , as you put it , would have nothing to say. The people of this town elected you and the rest of the governing body to do the best for this town. We put our faith and trust in those votes and in doing so we put that same faith and trust in you, our mayor. Overtly it seems as though that faith was miss placed. .... That said... I am greatly disheartened that on the first post on FB that I have seen from you in a long time, you promptly lowered yourself to referring to the people on the FB page as unemployed, dead beat parents, malcontents and shameless self promoters.. I really lost respect for you on that.. shameful. Kathleen Walsh Roost: I guess I missed your disclaimer... Kerry McEntee Gowan: I hate mud slinging but I called you Frank two weeks ago and I still have not heard from you. I believe communication is very important for everyone.
