POVERELLO TO ACCEPT BOARD NOMINATIONS WILTON MANORS, FL. (September 3, 2014)--Poverello, established in 1988 to feed those living with HIV/AIDS, has been a beacon of hope, providing thousands of meals regularly to help feed men, women and children who need a helping hand. With a successful thrift store to help fund the food bank and a case management and nutrition program to offer support to clients, Poverello is now seeking to expand its Board with other qualified and committed individuals who can guide the organization to its next level of success. “We are so proud of what we do here, but we know there is more to be done and it can’t be done alone,” said Thomas Smith, President of Poverello. “This is an exciting time and we welcome those who have a commitment to helping those in need to rally behind our vital mission.” Board applications are available at poverello.org with a September 30, 2014 deadline for submissions.
