POWER FOR TODAY Friday 11th July 2014 YOUR TONGUE STEERS YOU TO YOUR DESTINY PROPHET BEBE ANGEL Behold, we put bits in the horses mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! James 3:3-5 An entire Jumbo Jet is controlled by a small apparatus called a flight yoke, just bigger than the pilot’s hand. A ship which can carry a load of over 100 000 tones, is controlled by a very small helm, you can even use one hand to harness such a load. Do you get the point Apostle James is putting across. The destiny, speed and direction of an aero plane, ship, truck or even a horse is determined by a very small tool. A bit and a helm is the context of our scripture. This is also a spiritual truth; our choices, actions, characters, destiny and entire life’s are determined by a little member, our tongue. The words we say make us or break us for life and death is in the power of the tongue. What we confess and speak over our life’s materialize into flesh, into physical reality so you have to guard your heart with all diligence. Notice the mouth speaks what the heart is full of, if it’s full of anger, evil, deceit that is what you will speak and that is what you will sow, for words are seeds. As a result, that is what you will harvest. Today choose to fill your heart with God’s spirit and his word then you tongue will guide you to your prophetic destiny and purpose. PROPHETIC DECLARATION I guard my heart with all diligence, for out of if flow’s the issues of life through my tongue.
