Last week, ABC affiliate WLS-TV Channel 7 aired an investigative report, “I-Team Treasure Hunt Turns Up Millions In Taxpayer Funded Trinkets,” on wasteful government spending on promotional products, which targeted a local PPAI member. PPAI answered the report with a response, which ABC 7 agreed to post on their website, supporting responsible spending and the effective use of promotional products to promote essential government programs. Thus, allowing viewers to consider the facts for themselves.
