PPCFC head coach Sam Schweingruber spoke after PPCFCs 4-0 victory over Army in the opening Hun Sen Cup tie on Thursday. I am very proud of my teams strong team performance yesterday. A big compliment to all of our players and staff for a great game. After our recent issues within the club we were eager to show that unified, we can achieve success. We have lost some players that were very important to our team last year, but the game vs Army has shown that we have different players that are ready to step up and prove their qualities. The game was a good and important step in the right direction and hopefully the beginning of a good year in 2015. We all know that it was only a game, only 3 points that we have won and we will need to work very hard to perform better, cut out some of the mistakes and improve our fitness to be ready for the MCL. Some of the attacking moves and skill shown, some of the combinations we saw yesterday makes me excited for the next games and I am confident we will see more victories like yesterday in the near future.
