I am finding it hard what to do with my 18 month old son... with this weather it never seems to stick to what it wants to do.. i know to do things like colour and paint, but he doesnt seem interested, he just wants to put things in his mouth, surely he would of stopped by now? yesterday aswell, my sister was looking after him whilst i was at work and wouldnt settle for her at all and ended up coming to my work, then he seemed super happy to see me, she said how she took him to the park and children his age where playing on the park and all my son wanted to do was sit and eat leaves (he does this alot) i do tell him not to and that its dirty but it seems im going round in circles, im thinking whats best do i take him to nursery 1 half day a week, ive never took him to toddler groups because when ive took him before he dont settle. he is with me most of the time as my partner works away alot atm.. i only have a few friends and i mean a few friends but its very limited to see people either work commits or other things.. feeling a let down most of the time aswell, i do try play with my son but he never seems interested, he quite happy to cuddle me so thats a bonus.. i am of to see HV tomorrow for his 18 month check up... but any suggestions would be great.. and again im sorry for long post xxx
