PPRH features Dr. Neha Patel at the Senior Circle Luncheon Join us on Tuesday, October 8, 11:45 to 1pm, for a presentation by Dr. Neha Patel of the Lee Eye Institute. The event will take place at the Woodland Park Senior Citizens Center at 312 N. Center St., Woodland Park. Senior Circle members, Senior Club members and the public are invited to attend. This is a potluck, so bring a dish and the hospital is providing baked hamJ Dr. Patel specializes in ocular plastics and facial surgery. She treats eyelid disorders, blocked tear ducts, dry eyes, diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Dr. Patel completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and then went on to complete internship at Mt. Sinai/Cabrini in New York City. She finished Ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago. Her Oculoplastics fellowship was at Wayne State University. Dr. Patel has published basic science research from a research fellowship in London and most recently submitted a publication on eyelid burns from her experiences at a major academic burn center. She was Co-Director of Oculoplastic Surgery at Loyola University Medical center where she taught ophthalmology residents and medical students.
