PR Tip of the Week: When pitching to a TV journalist it’s important to explain the visual elements of the story. It’s also a good idea to offer them an expert to interview on a particular topic plus an everyday person who has experienced the issue first hand. For example, if your story angle is about a new treatment for cancer you could offer a medical professional who created the treatment (expert) plus a patient who has benefited from the treatment to interview.
