PRACTICAL POINTERS FOR PARTNERSHIP: It is typically not the thing (bridge, trailer, tarp, water crossing, etc.) that the horse is afraid of as much as it is what we might do to them with the thing. Have you ever pondered why horses will load themselves into a trailer if it were parked in their field or why they will investigate the tarp when on their own terms? Or, in the case of the horse in the video below, how willing (much less exuberant) he is to enter the water and pool (te he!). Why is this?
