Have you ever wondered why the cat loves to rub itself around its owners. Have you thought of what strengthens the love bond between a mother and baby? The answer is TOUCH. Touch is one of the sensitive virtues in the human system. As part of the five senses, touch assures confidence, brings warmth, inspires hope, creates love and also relaxes the desperate. But there is another form of touch, the greatest of all touches: THE TOUCH OF JESUS and we will draw some lessons as we continue to walk daily with him. The passage basically talk of a woman with an 18 year old infirmity who received Jesuss touch and instantly her bended figure was straightened up. The question is what kind of touch could propel such instantaneous turnaround of a womans destiny. I call it the six (6) Ps of his touch as indicated below: 1. Purposeful Touch Jesus does not touch in vain. His touch was purposeful. The woman always came to the Synagogue with this condition. Im sure she prayed, sacrificed burnt offerings and gave to support the temple work. That day was her day of visitation. May be you are having a condition( medical, financial, emotional etc..) but you still go to church. One of these days, I see the purposeful touch of God reach out to you. 2. Powerful Touch The touch of Jesus is a touch of power. How God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power who went about doing good(Acts 10:38). When Jesus touched the woman, power flowed out of him and hit the bended figure and she straightened up immediately. I release the powerful touch of God right now to bended lives, bended marriages, bended families, bended careers, bended relationships, bended minds, bended emotions to straighten up right now in the name of Jesus. Whatever went through his touch transformed. Five loaves and two fishes fed 5000 men after it contacted his touch. I urge that let your life come in contact with his touch today and you will be moved from baca (valley of tears) to berach (valley of joy) for his touch is purposeful and powerful.
