PRAISE REPORT — The Greatest Miracle: Recently I was in Chandler, Arizona attending The Big Tent Event revival. Back at the hotel while waiting for an elevator (which got stuck on the second floor and never made it to the lobby), I struck up a conversation with a staff member in housekeeping who was also waiting. I tried a combination of techniques I just learned from tent revival speaker Todd White and from Frances Hunter several years ago. I began, “May I ask you a question?” She indicated in the affirmative. “Did you know that God loves you with an everlasting love? He has a great plan for your life, and you are special in His sight — and there’s nothing you can do about it!” (Smile). I continued, “Did you know there are two kinds of absolutely fabulous people who work at this hotel? Those who are saved, and those about to be, which one are you?” The lady indicated she did not understand the question (she spoke some English, but mostly Spanish). I ventured, “God forbid, but if you were to die tonight, would you know for certain you would be in heaven?”, to which she replied, “I am not sure”. I said, “Let’s make sure, shall we? Repeat this after me: Father God, forgive me of my sins. Jesus, come into my heart. Make me the kind of person you want me to be. Thank you for saving me today.” Then I asked, “Where is Jesus now?” The lady replied, “In my heart”, to which I proclaimed joyfully, “Congratulations, you are now a child of God, welcome to God’s family!” Immediately she pointed to her stomach and twirling her finger, she remarked, “IT FEELS GOOD!” I replied, “That’s the Holy Spirit giving you that good feeling, now that you have Jesus in your heart!” Both of us rejoiced in the fact that this precious soul is heaven bound! The angels are throwing a party in heaven! (Luke 15:7-10) I am sending her a Spanish Bible and a list of reliable churches with Spanish services in her hometown of Phoenix so that she can be firmly established in her new faith in Christ. I think it is totally awesome that God used a stuck elevator to change the eternal destiny of someone who needed to hear the Gospel. I give HIM all glory and praise!
