PRAY AND WAIT! We must WAIT TO RECEIVE and WAIT for the FREE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! THE HEAVENLY CHURCH IN CHRIST JESUS! The good NEWS is the PRINCIPAL IS THE DOOR (JOHN 10:7, 9) and HE gave the KEYS TO APOSTLES PETER (Matt. 16:18-19) he has OPENED THE DOOR (Acts 2:1-47), AND NO MAN CAN SHUT IT! (REV.3:8) and the SUBJECT is from (Mark 3:35; Acts 10:34; 1:14,) For the Holy Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. (Luke 12:8-12). (JER. 20:1-18) WITNESS AND WAIT! (Acts 1:7-8) He said to them, it is not for you to become acquainted with and know what time brings --- the things and events of time and their definite periods --- fixed years and seasons (their critical nick of time), which the FATHER has appointed (fixed and reserved) by HIS own choice and authority and personal power. God has two words for time: CHRONOS, which means "time governed by the clock" (QUANTITY time) and KAIROS, which means "time measured by special moments" (QUALITY TIME). But you shall receive power --- ability, efficiency and might --- when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be MY witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends --- the very bounds --- of the earth. [The power which he shall receive it is not like someone said to you says these prayer after me and you have received the power, listen what Peter has too said about receiving the Holy Spirit in (Acts 10:34-48; note 44-48) While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to the message. And the believers from among the circumcised [the Jews] who came with Peter were surprised and amazed, because the FREE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT had been bestowed and poured out largely even on the Gentiles. For they heard them talking in [unknown] languages and extolling and, magnifying God. Then Peter asked, can anyone forbid or refuse water for baptizing these people, seeing that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? And he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Then they begged him to stay on there for some day. (Everyone must in line with the message that Peter preach to receive power in Acts 1:7-8, 14) All of these with their minds in full agreement devoted themselves steadfastly to prayer, [waiting together] with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. And Peter opened his mouth and said; Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons, (ACTS 10:34; MARK 3:31-35) And HE replied, who are MY mother and MY brothers? And looking around on those who sat in a circle about HIM, HE said, SEE! Here are MY brothers, for whoever does the things God wills are MY brother, and sister, and mother! The key is that you have to take advantage of the right time at the moment it happens, or you lose it forever. (Luke 19:44) And they will dash you down to the ground, you [Jerusalem] and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another; [all] because you did not come progressively to recognize and know and understand [from observation and experience] the time of your visitation [that is, when God was visiting you, the time in which God showed HIMSELF gracious toward you and offered you salvation through Christ]. And when as HE approached HE saw the city, HE wept (audibly) over it, exclaiming, would that you had known personally, even at least in this your day, the things that make for peace (for freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace, that is, your security, safety, prosperity and happiness depends)! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For a time is coming upon you when your enemies will throw up a bank (with pointed stakes) about you, and surround you, and shut in on every side. For the LORD of hosts has said, HEW down her tree, and cast up a siege mound against Jerusalem. This is the city which must be punished; there is nothing but oppression within her. (Jer. 6:6). (Acts 24:25) but as he continued to argue about uprightness, purity of life --- the control of the passions --- and the Judgment to come, Felix became alarmed and terrified and said, Go away for the present; when I have a convenient opportunity I will send for you. (Eph. 5:15-16) look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise --- sensible, intelligent people; Making the very most of the time --- buying up each opportunity --- because the days are evil. (Gal. 6:9) and let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. When the disciples asked when Jesus was going to "restore the kingdom" (send revival), He told them that it was not for them to distinguish between the "times" (CHRONOS) and the "seasons" (KAIROS), because only God controls times of supernatural visitation! Only God has power (EXOUSIA = AUTHORITY) over the results of our prayer, our worship, and our work. But He has given us power (DUNAMIS = ABILITY) to be witnesses. The key to revival is for the church to exercise its ABILITY until God exercises His AUTHORITY. We must WITNESS and WAIT! Jesus shall lead us night and day. Jesus shall lead us all the way HE is a truest friend to us for we remember Calvary. Stay Blessed
