PRAY FOR YOURSELF!!! Pray without ceasing(1thesalonian5:17). This year,you are going to pray for yourself and God will answer your prayers in Jesus name amen. You can only tell your pastor,brethren to pray with you not to pray for you. There are many prophets in the day of Jabez,yet he called upon the name of God and God transformed his life,i pray as you are calling on the name of the Lord,God will transform your life in Jesus name amen. It is a shameful thing to tell your pastor to pray on your behalf,or to tell your brethren to pray on your behalf,if you acknowledge your God and you walk perfectly and uprightly before Him,the only thing you need is pray with me not pray for me. Jesus says,ask it shall be given unto you,seek and you shall found,knock and the door will be open unto you(matthew7:7). Here Jesus is not talking to twelve Apostles only,but to every chrstian who believe in the name of Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and personal Saviour. Why then are you telling someone to ask on your behalf,when you yourself is a christian?as from today you will ask from the Lord and He will give you in Jesus name amen. When prophet Isaiah came and deliver the message of God unto king Hezekiah that he will surely die,the king never ask the prophet to pray for him,but he turned to the wall and pray to God and God answered him and added to his days(isaiah38). In this year,as you invest in more prayer and call on the name of the Lord,God will answer you in Jesus name amen. HOW CAN YOU CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD? For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call call on Him they have not believed?(romans10:13-14). To everyone that called upon the name of the Lord both in the old testament and the new,the acknowledge God,they recognise the power of God,that is why they have answer to their prayer. And Samson called unto the Lord and said,O Lord GOD,remember me,i pray thee,and strenghten me,i pray thee,only this once,O God,that i may be at once avenged of the philistines for my two eyes(judges16:28). Samson knew his God,and God answered him. And i prayed unto the Lord my God(daniel9:4a). Daniel knew his God and prayed to Him,that was why he received an answer. So also to Hannah,she called upon the name of her God and God answered her(1samuel1:11). Peter called on the name of the Lord and he healed the sick,lame and raised dead,so also to all believers in the old time. So therefore,this year,you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour(romans10:9,john3:16,acts16:31). And be you holy and live a sinless life(isaiah59:1-3,hebrew12:14). Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands,and a pure heart,who hath not lifted his soul unto vanity nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lordand righteousness from the God his salvation.(psalm24:3-5). As you can see here that holiness will make one receive blessing from the Lord,therefore depart from iniquity and pray to God and He will surely answer you. Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity(2timothy2:19b). If my people that are called by my name,shall humble themselves,and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked ways,then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins,and will heal their land(2chronicles7:14). If you can depart from sin and called unto God with a pure heart and pure motive you will be answered. Bible says,ye ask and receive not because ye ask amiss,that ye may consume it upon your lusts.(james4:3). This year surrender all unto the Lord and trust Him as meshack,shadrack and Abed-nego trust the Lord even at the point of death,He will never fail you. It is your sin that make you ashame of calling the name of the Lord by yourself,depart from sins,and make your ways upright before God. In everything,remeber,NO GRACE after GRAVE PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL THAT ARE IN CHRIST JESUS AMEN.
