PRAYER: Dear Lord, I thank you for all that you’ve done in my life and for what you’re about to do in my life. I thank you for the air that I breathe, the food on the table, the roof over my head, the water I have to drink, the clothes on my back, but Lord, thank you for everything else. Thank you Lord for teaching me more of you that I may become more and more like your glorious image that I may represent you well wherever I am, with whoever I am. Forgive me for the times I have not brought glory to your name by boasting about my own wisdom or power or riches rather than boasting in knowing you Lord. I thank you for your Word which teaches us all about right living. Your Word is truth and everything that you’ve said in your Word to do is for our benefit, to give us clear understanding and to give us love, joy, peace, hope, faith, direction, revelation, power and knowledge. And I thank you for your amazing Holy Spirit which teaches and guides us in to all truth. I thank you for the people you’ve allowed me to counsel. I thank you that every opportunity I get is an opportunity to share the love of Christ. I thank you that you never force anyone to do anything but rather that you invite. Teach me how to do the same as you. Thank you for the people you’ve brought in to my life that counsels me. I thank you for teaching me how to test every spirit to see if they are from you. You’ve told us in your Word that we shall know people by their fruits. Thank you for teaching me who I want to spend my time with and who I don’t. I want to spend more of my time with people who will love me, encourage me, and to challenge me to grow more in the things of God. I thank you for the ones who have given me wise Godly counsel and I thank you for the ones who have not. I thank you for everyone you’ve placed across my path for it shows me who I want to become like and who I don’t. I thank you Lord that changing the hearts of men is not my job but yours. I thank you my job is to love others and I praise you for loving me unconditionally that I may learn what it means to truly love others according to your Word. I thank you for the opportunities to pray for people and to share the good news about Christ and to share my testimonies of what you’ve done in my life because I’m here to glorify you Lord. Lord, lead me always to say only the things you want me to say and to do only the things you want me to do and to be the way only you want me to be for you have said for us to be guided by your Spirit. Thank you for teaching me all your ways that I may be effective for the work of your Kingdom and to do it in love. Thank you for reminding me that the complete law is completed by these two commandments; First is to love you Lord with all our heart, strength, mind and soul, and secondly to love our neighbours as ourselves. You’ve said in your Word that whatever we wish for others to do to us, we also ought to do to others. . I thank you for reminding me to be good to everyone especially to those who belong to the family of Christ. For the times I don’t get it right Lord, I thank you for your mercy and grace that I may do better and better each time. I thank you for loving me anyway. And I thank you for growing me in your love. I thank you for your beautiful love Lord. There is no love like your love and there is no presence like your presence. I want to be in your presence all the time. I thank you Lord for giving me the wisdom, knowledge, boldness, courage, passion, strength, talents, and giftings to pursue all that you’ve asked of me. Let all that I do be done in love because you are love God. Let your name be glorified throughout the earth and let your children rise up to proclaim that the Lord’s favour has come. I thank you that you are the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings and that your plans for us will always prevail. I thank you that you are my potter and I am the clay that I may be molded to be a utensil for every good work, in Jesus name, Amen.
