PRAYER FOR SUCCESSFUL 2015 ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA (Composed by Evang. Jude S. C. Asogwa) Eternal Father , Lord God Almighty, you are the almighty God who knows everything , who is everywhere and who can do all things. We hand over to you oh Lord our great country Nigeria and over one hundred and sixty-five million citizens from different ethnic background and with diverse tongues and language and yet united together as one nation. Do not let this country descend into anarchy, and keep your people safe from any form of violence before , during and after this election in the most powerful name of Jesus. I ( Mention your name ) and my household shall not be victims of violence , bomb blast and destruction of any type , for no weapon fashion against me and my household shall prosper in the victorious name of Jesus. Deliver our national assembly , States and nation from corrupt politicians and wicked leaders who do not represent your interest and the interest of your people but are motivated by greed , selfish and demonic interests . Deliver our country Nigeria from bloodshed , corruption and economic setbacks. Inspire us by your spirit to choose the right candidate and to vote wisely in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Lord deliver your people from fear , unnecessary panicking and from every network and plan that leads to disaster . Keep us together and stronger as one united and peaceful nation to the glory of your name and to the shame and defeat of the devil and every enemy of our great nation , in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
