PRAYER FOR T HE SICK: Dear God, merciful Father, I place everyone who is sick today under the protection of Your Holy Will. Do what is best for them; touch them with Your caring hands that they may be healed in mind, heart, body, soul and spirit; speak to them Your consoling words that they maybe strong; assist them in their pains that they may accept them with faith. Cure them from their illness that they may offer themselves again to You. Restore to them their lost healthy that they may serve You once more. With Your constant grace and loving assistance, let them understand Your ways in their suffering, let them know Your divine plan in their lives. From You we came and to You we must return. I especially pray for those who take good care of the sick. Give to them what they need most, a heart that will continue to love, not hardened by criticisms; a hand that will never stop to care not clasped by indifference; a life that will never cease to serve and not discouraged by routine. With Your deep love and unconditional mercy, grant tho those who care and work for the sick renewed understanding; down to earth compassion, selfless service, fear of the Lord, and an obedient heart to follow the teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic and Universal Church. I pray for those who are sick that You may bestow on them the gift of Yourself. May they never stop to hope. May they continue to trust. May they also pray with faith. "Father into Your hands we commend our spirits!" Amen
