PRAYER FOR TODAY Father, thank you for your promise of peace. You command me not to be troubled. You command me not to be afraid. Indeed Lord, the only way to have peace is to hold to your word. Teach me to hold on to your word. In the midst of trouble and difficulties, send your Holy Spirit to quicken my spirit, and remind me of the promises of Jesus. Lead me to Jesus always. May I find comfort in your word, please be my peace and strength in the midst of chaos. Today, I open my heart to you and ask that you teach me to hear your voice clearly. I will listen, I will obey, and I will walk in your ways in Jesus name. Amen.
