PRAYER NEEDED TO COUNTER THE STRONG MAN, #Putin: This kind of Soviet era activity going on in #Ukraine creates a euphoria at home(in #Russia) over conquering lands which distracts people from the poor economy, loss of free speech, freedoms and many other problems. In addition, a free and prospering Ukraine is a threat. So if Putin wants to stay in power, he has to create the distraction of war. His propaganda has everyone in Russia believing they are doing a great thing to bring past countries back under the banner of the Russian empire. That is why the sanctions dont work. Its like throwing flowers to stop a moving army tank. Putins reward is far greater than any small sanctions the world might throw at him. It is his survival at stake. He wants to rule for life.
