PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY: TRAIN UP YOUR CHILD 2 - MAY WE NEVER BE GUILTY OF THE SINS OF OUR CHILDREN! 1. Father, we thank You for Your Power of protection over us when we were asleep, thank You for Your Hand of love that woke us up today, we are grateful, accept our thanks in The name of Jesus! 2. Father, we pray for wisdom to divinely train up our children in the way of The Lord which we expect them to go, so that when they are old they will never depart from it! Whatever, it will take for us to train our children, we shall chasten them while there is hope! We will not be emotionally carried away by their crying! We shall teach our children from their youth the Holy Scripture whichis able to make them wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 3. Father, we realised that there are different categories of children parents relationships! Some children like the children of Eli, lack home training, unfortunately both parents and children died the same day, I pray this will not be our portion in the name of Jesus! Some children like the children of Samuel, had good upbringing and training, but they rejected the training, not walking in the ways of their father, they were rejected by the people while their father enjoyed a befitting burial! Father, we pray that our children shall be faithful, available to do your work and be teachable in The Name of Jesus! 4. Father, we pray that our children will not rebel against You! They shall not be dissuaded by peer pressure to forsake the godly home training to follow after the moral decadence of the present age! They will be exempted from the degeneration prevalent among the modern youths! They shall give their lives willingly charting a course in life that goes through Gods principles! Father the wisdom not to spare the rod and spoil our children we ask from You in The Name of Jesus! 5. Father, like Abraham,let us be great! Like Isaac let us be very great! and Like Jacob, let our grandchildren be exceedingly great! No matter the level of our greatness and affluence grant us the wisdom to train our children,that hard work is the antidote to poverty! That there is no royal road to success! That anyone who is diligent in his duties shall stand before kings and not before mean men! Under our watchful eyes, they will not spend all their time watching television, surfing the web or playing video games! 6. Father, we pray that we shall not love the world or all the things that are worldly! We shall not abandon our responsibility of training our children into the hands of child minders, school teachers or the television! We shall not bring up our children only by the law of the land or social services norms. We pray that the Word of God shall play a key role in their upbringing! Our children shall be a blessing to the family,the House of God! They shall be a blessing to their nation and their generation and generations yet unborn in The Name of Jesus! 7. Father, we pray none of us will bury any of our children not even their foetus in The Name of Jesus! We shall train them not only to honour us but every body who is older than them, most especially those who have parent figure responsibilities over them! By so doing, it shall be well with them and they shall live to their ripe old age in The Name of Jesus...............Amen! Let Somebody shout Hallelujah! EMMANUEL=GOD WITH US
