PRAYER REQUEST FROM SISTER Kathy Perry Buchanan for her niece Tessa.. Tessa who is only 5 months old. This Friday the doctors are having a meeting, at the Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, with the family to talk about Tessas chances and the next step to her treatment. Being that I live in IL I will not be at the meeting. Her next step is a Stem Cell/Bone Marrow transplant, as of now we know this needs to be done soon. We will know more on Friday. Baby Tessa has a very rare disease. The more information we get the more it does not look good. It is very complicated. It is called Severe Congenital Neutropenia, it is also chronic. It is so rare that the doctors know very little about how to treat it. She has been put on a registry list of children in the world with this illness, and they are all being watched to see how different treatments work. Most of them do not make it, or there is complications to the transplant. The transplant is the only way she will live. Even with the transplant we really do not know what her outcome will be. We really need a miracle. We are praying for healing for baby Tessa. I know that God sometimes heals here on earth or by taking them to heaven. I am just asking for prayer, Ive been asking for it on my page and now if you can ask the people in the group to pray for this miracle for our baby Tessa. That my family will understand all that is being told to them. Also that my family and the mother of Tessa will stay strong and keep the faith in God. The father of baby Tessa is not a Christian so he also needs prayer. The mothers name is Erica, and she is a mother of 4 other children. She is having a very hard time with all of this and can barely hang on. This is very hard on all of us, as we have all fallen in love with this little angel and do not want to lose her.
