PRAYER REQUEST: I am requesting your fervent prayers for my mother this week. For those of you who know me well, you know that I am a mamas girl. My whole paint line is inspired by the life she created for us as kids growing up on a small farm. I love her with every fiber of my being, and she has my whole heart. There is nothing I wouldnt do for her. This Tuesday she will be having open heart surgery. My hands just started shaking when I typed that - whew! And now Im crying. I cannot begin to tell you what this woman means to me. She has made me who I am, given me the values I have, and instilled a perfect trust of God in me. She taught me to put others before myself, and to always consider how my actions would affect those attached to a situation. She taught me through her own example not to expect handouts, but to work for what you want and what you need. She taught me to always give more than I take, and to love no matter what. She taught me to love through pain, no matter how hard it is because thats what God said to do. She taught me to be soft, and she taught me to be tough. She taught me to trust in my instinct and never to give up on myself. Shes cheered for me when I was happy, shes held me when I cried, and shes encouraged me when I was weak. She loves with everything she has and is the first one to give you what she has to give if youre in need - no matter who you are. We serve a God of provision who loves us perfectly and I know she will be in His hands through this, but I still ask that you keep her in your prayers. I know first hand the miracles that can happen through the power of prayer. Gods word tells us that whatsoever we ask in His name, believing, so shall we receive, and I am believing that her health will be perfectly restored to her. Thank you for your prayers.
