PRAYER REQUESTS (the day after surgery): From Julie (Sheryls daughter) The next 48 hours will be critical, as far as how the skin graft and bone adapt to the body. Please pray that the transition is seamless and that no blood clots form. The biopsy results will be back in 1 week. Were praying that if it is Gods will that we will find out that she is completely cancer free and will not need chemo. Comfort. As expected the recovery period is rough. My mom is in great spirits, but between the trach tube, the newly structured jaw, and the now less-structured leg, shes going to have a lot of discomfort. Even small actions that we take for granted such as coughing, swallowing, etc. can now feel impossible. Please pray that she continues to be overwhelmed by Gods peace and finds comfort and rest.
