PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED FOR THIS FAMILY: I feel honored that my niece, Becky Phillips Rainey asked me to pray and also ask my prayer warrior friends to pray for this family. THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER! This little boy was in 1st grade like my great-niece, Lyla-Grace and his sibling is in critical condition and is in 8th grade like my great-nephew, Ethan. I cannot imagine losing a child. May God bring peace to this family! Dear H.B. Williams Families, It is with a heavy heart that I share Marcus Henry, a beloved first grader here at H.B. Williams, died Friday night when he was involved in a horrific automobile accident. This news came as a humbling reminder of the preciousness and brevity of life. In the coming days, there are some difficult conversations to be had with our children. As we enter into grieving, it is our desire to respect your family and allow you to share the news in the way that is right for your family. We will have extra counselors on site next week to help students and faculty process Marcuss passing. However, we feel it is most prudent to allow you to share the news first with your child.
