PRAYING FOR PASTORS AND LEADERS DAY 16 Today Sunday, we pray for the Church of Jesus Christ, our Pastors and Leaders, that our churches become real authentic disciples of Christ who are learning, growing and making fruit and in turn making more disciples. We pray that nothing will hold our churches to willingly invite people to come and hear the spoken word of God and that there is no division among us. PROVERBS 19:23 "The fear of the Lord leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble". MALACHI 3:11-12 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,"says the Lord Almighty. "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,"says the Lord Almighty". MATTHEW 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." JOHN 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit- fruit that will last and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other. GALATIANS 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
