PREACHING THE GOSPEL WAS NOT ONLY BELIEVE IN THE LORD, BUT MANY WORDS ASKING PEOPLE REPENTANCE, SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD, BAPTISM, DEEDS Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Act 2:40 And WITH MANY OTHER WORDS DID HE TESTIFY AND EXHORT, SAVE YOURSELVES FROM THIS UNTOWARD (PERVERSE) GENERATION Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Act 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and PREACHED UNTO HIM JESUS. Act 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; WHAT DOES HINDER ME TO BE BAPTIZED? Act 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Act 16:32 And THEY SPAKE UNTO HIM THE WORD OF THE LORD, and to all that were in his house. Act 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 3:21 But HE THAT DOETH TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT, that HIS DEEDS MAY BE MANIFEST, that they are wrought in God.
