PRECIOUS AND HER BABIES NEED YOU!! On Sunday, July 17th a firefighter from Memphis, came home to find a dog tied to his front porch! Meet Precious! She is an approximately 4 year old pit bull, that has CLEARLY been used to produce puppies, ALL HER LIFE! She is so horribly thin, the emergency vet didn’t even know if she was going to survive. Well, Precious is a fighter and has now had 3 good days of many small meals (as to not turn her stomach), and appears to be on the road to recovery. Hoovers Hause All Dog Rescue has agreed to take in Precious and her unborn puppies! Thank you, Mario of the Savior Foundation based in Memphis, TN….for telling us about this beautiful girl! She appears to be due within the next few days, however, the vet thinks a couple weeks. Let’s hope so for the health of those babies! Precious is going to need a LOT of quality food and care prior to and during her last time as a mama! She also has severly burned paw pads (guessing from being on black top too long), and it’s difficult for her to walk. Even with ALL THESE PROBLEMS, Precious will give as many kisses as you can tolerate and is just over the top with joy that she is safe and now well cared for! I did her heartworm test tonight, and she also has heartworms :( Precious and her babies are in DIRE NEED of tax-deductible donations! Please find it in your heart and wallet to give generously!
