PRELIMINARY UNDERSTANDINGS A Planetary Consciousness Shift We, as a collective humanity, have entered into a tremendous phase of transformation on our planet, which profoundly influences the way we see our world and ourselves. This is a global consciousness shift that is characterized by the purification of our selfish ways and separatist views. It is giving way to a new paradigm of unity, peace and goodwill to all. The sense of duality that has taken humanity down the path of separation from Source energy, is no longer the necessary experience in the forward evolution of our planetary home. In truth, there is no separation between our Creator and us nor is there separation between each other. We are one global family. 1Our life paths are now uniting to co-create a new Earth harmonic which regards the equality of all people, countries, races and religions. All humans are created in equal magnificence as radiant divine expressions of God, or the universal creative force. As extensions of our Creator, we are born of the light, and this supreme universal light is within us all. All power is within, all answers are within, and what we seek is within. In this glorious awakening to truth, we are transitioning from all dominant, materialistic and fear-based realities to experience a much greater potential and creative expression. From the purity of heart intention and authentic humility, we are reclaiming our personal power by embracing the spirit of unification and the interconnectivity of all things. We are magnificent creative beings of love and instruments of the Divine Presence. We are here to co-create, together, a new planetary reality of loving kindness towards all life. Definition of Initiation The profound changes that we are experiencing in our life are essentially the result of initiation’s path. Initiation comes naturally to any person who is expressing the desire to evolve their consciousness, to learn, to change, to grow, and to understand life more fully. Initiation is an organic, gradual expansion of consciousness, a process of Soul evolution in which successive stages of unification take place. This involves the relinquishing of separated reactions in a series of progressive renunciations. The purpose of initiation is to achieve unity in diversity and ultimately, reunification with our inherent divinity. Initiation brings us to a new level of consciousness that is experienced as a result of right thought, right action and resulting service to others. During this journey, we literally undergo a transformation of our personality and entire life. Holiness of character is the outcome through a great purification of our human nature. There are also a lot of developing skills associated with various stages of our development as a result of the expansion of our personal energy field. This includes extra sense perceptions and the ability to create and manifest through thought alone. Our daily life is the backdrop of initiation, which serves as a mirror to the gradual mastering of the Self. Our entire life situation, both the challenges and the more positive experiences, is always reflecting where we are holding our consciousness. We create our reality. Initiation is deeply personal. We each undergo initiatory development in unique and different ways. No two people are the same. Moreover, the process of initiation is always in a cycle of perfecting no matter what stage we are accomplishing. As a life practice, spiritual initiation and its resultant transformation of consciousness can be quickened with our attention focused upon it. The purpose of the Rites of Passage program is to bring awareness and understanding to some of the major stages of initiation and the requirements necessary to attain higher evolution. 2Research and Testing During the year of 2012, The Rites of Passage program was delivered through my humanitarian network, Children of the Sun Foundation, to approximately 23,000 people from around the world in order to test its effectiveness. The results were highly transformational in the actualized advancement of consciousness, both individually and as a group undertaking. Also in 2012, I personally led five group expeditions into the Amazon Jungle of Peru to undergo accelerated processes of initiation and consciousness transformation while working with the principles contained within the Rites of Passage program. The quickened results and level of consciousness transformation were astounding. I learned through this profound depth of direct experience that the vibration of people in varying levels of consciousness, as this is contained within a higher vibrating group energy field, can be raised to directly experience expanded levels of awareness. The KEY to integration, however, is to remain within the group energy field in order for the subsequent quickening to properly stabilize. A Group Service Activity While this is a self-study course, you are not doing this alone and are greatly supported through a vast network of communication exchange referred to as, the Unity Matrix (also known as the planetary grid of light) and all people who are undergoing consciousness awakening at this very moment throughout the world. The Rites of Passage program is also planetary service. In each of the audio transmissions, we give acts of energy transference outwardly to assist in consciousness transformation for all humanity. It is an evolutionary law, that we must always assist the ones that follow us as we advance into higher states of conscious awareness. As we rise up, all life rises with us. Neutral Language I AM Avatar is a universal platform that unifies with all paths that lead to love, unity and the truth of the innate divine nature. Due to the diversity of program participants who come from all around the world, we are using words that are more universal in nature and without claim to any one form of spiritual or religious path. If a word is used from a particular tradition, we have selected it based upon its vibrational resonance. The word, “Divine Presence”, is used to express our Source of life, that supreme intelligent power of love that permeates every form and every atom of the whole universe. It is referred to 3by many other names in other traditions. These include the Great Spirit, God, the Field, Brahma, Allah, Creator, pure awareness, Hu, I AM that I AM. I also use the words, “divine” and “divinity” quite often. We are referring to a state of perfection, supreme beauty and goodness. This is magnificence and excellence in the highest degree and is the inherent nature of every single person and living thing. On page 7 of this Introduction is a Glossary to many more of the spiritually attuned words that we are using. Prerequisites The Rites of Passage program is designed to benefit everyone, no matter the level of conscious awareness. You may receive much more from this program if you are already focusing upon bodily purification and are seeking new ways of perceiving life. Your ability to integrate the Rites of Passage will be greater if you are already demonstrating... * An increasing level of physical purity and moving into more healthy choices for the body temple. * An increasing level of emotional balance with ability to maintain a state of harmony and balance in the face of adversity. * An increasing level of mental stability with efforts being made to achieve inner quietude. You have experienced meditation and know the benefits of controlling the run away mind. THIS IS A DAILY PRACTICE FOR 12 WEEKS The Rites of Passage program is essentially a 12-week initiation that builds exponentially. When this program is taken in its entirety with full sincerity, participants will potentially experience immense personal change. This is a daily focus requiring a high level of dedication. To receive the maximum level of results, it is recommended to consistently have peace and calm around you when reading the material and experiencing the audio transmission. It is highly beneficial to set aside time each day for further contemplation and practice. 4Summary of the Rites of Passage 1. The Rite of Divine Relationship As the foundation to the entire Rites of Passage experience, this first initiation builds alignment with your most significant relationship… the one that is shared with your Creator in tandem with the greater knowing that you are this pure awareness. Then, you can accomplish and manifest to your greatest ability. 2. The Rite of Divine Will This second initiation sets into momentum the greater merging of our personal will with the supreme motivational energy of Divine Will, the greater aspect of our nature. This union empowers an indescribable invincibility in any direction that you desire to go… to fulfill your life purpose. 3. The Rite of Transfiguration This Rite initiates deeper processes in the consummation of the human personality, transcending duality and seeing beyond the physical form. This phase of transformation is vital in order to experience further expansion of our consciousness. 4. The Rite of Renunciation In this fourth initiation, any focus of identity to the “me” personality is now shifting to the greater being that resides within you in the background consciousness. Identifying with the indwelling Divine Presence is knowledge. You are learning how to be this Presence, first and foremost. 5. The Rite of Divine Intuition This fifty passage is your entrance into phases of spiritual activation that support transition into greatly expanded perception. You are going much deeper, into the interior of your consciousness and to penetrate the reality that lies behind thought, and beyond the rationalizing mind. 6. The Rite of Divine Love You are now progressing beyond personality love and into an expansion of consciousness that realizes the Self as a vibrant and powerful center of fundamental, Universal Love, blessed with an expanded capacity to serve the human race. From this awareness, your love becomes a highly magnetic attractor field. 7. The Rite of Divine Wisdom The purpose of this next initiation is to activate your remembrance of how to access your inherent knowledge and to then serve as a conscious knower. This Rite helps to increase your capacity as a “thinker” to enter into and fuse with the super conscious mind housed within you. 58. The Rite of Divine Equanimity In this initiation, you learn to serve through mental detachment as a stilled instrument of peace. You surrender the “past” as a living imprint in favor of the all encompassing NOW. In this field of expanded perception, you gain the increasing power to manifest through thought and feeling alone. 9. The Rite of Soul Union The initiation is the phase that you make permanently transition from the human program and into a life of higher purpose, focused solely in Unity Consciousness. You become more universally aware and true vision is embodied. You come eye to eye with your life purpose in service to the whole. 10. The Rite of Co-Creation This Rite of Passage sets into momentum the greater awareness of how to magnetize your new creations while serving as a fully conscious Divine-Human through which the group consciousness is functioning. This purpose of this initiation is to help you to always be in perfect harmony with Divine Principle. 11. The Rite of Charity It is through this Rite that we come to realize true selflessness. Every activity, including our thoughts, feelings, words and acts, becomes centered upon service and giving. You will learn how to serve as a true humanitarian, through sincerity and humility, and with a sincere attitude of love and goodwill towards all. 12. The Rite of Emergence This Rite sets into momentum the actualization of one of the greatest accomplishments in life… your grand emergence into liberated consciousness. It delivers the initiation that will continually catapult you into greater expansions of perception so that you can constantly live the experience of oneness. 6Rites of Passage Glossary Coherence (Global Coherence) Our use of this term implies harmony, interconnectivity and stabilized order, where the whole is greater and more efficient than the sum of its parts. In global coherence, we are referring to a harmonious and stable alignment of relationships that allows for the efficient use of energy and communication for action with a common purpose. With coherence, we are free to do our individual part while adhering to the unified vision of the whole. Dimensional Shift The shift that the human race is currently undergoing is based on a change of consciousness perception that is in absolute acceptance to the divinity in all things, also known as Self Realization or Divine Union. As we undergo the required initiations and separating tendencies, our vibratory frequency increases to a level of resonance that resides in another perceptual awareness. Divine - Divinity This pertains to or proceeds from a state of perfection, supreme beauty and goodness. This is magnificence and excellence in the highest degree. Divinity is the state of being Divine, the inherent nature of every single person and living thing. Divine Immanence This refers to our innate divine nature as magnificent beings of pure awareness. The Divine Presence is within us and is who we really are as a totality of consciousness. We are divinity in the form. Divine Intuition This is intuitive power by which the Soul comprehends its own Divine Nature. This supreme Presence is perceived through the sight of the Soul. It is the inherent knowing of that which is beyond the scope of human reason and intellect. Divine Plan/Evolutionary PlanA planet and its race follow an orchestrated blueprint for its evolutionary growth. Everything upon Earth, including human life, is perfectly orchestrated through this evolutionary master plan. Divine Presence This refers to the interpenetration of the supreme, all-pervading, intelligent and loving force of benevolent energy within and throughout all manifested creation. The Divine Presence is our source of life. It is referred to by many names including, the Great Spirit, God, the Field, the Creator, Brahma, Allah, Hu, I AM that I AM. 7Divine Principle This refers to the laws of fundamental truths that guide the purposeful works of manifested creation. See Universal Laws. Divine Will Divine Will is the driving consciousness behind all creation and is responsible for the natural unfoldment of the evolutionary plan. This living forcefield penetrates through to the core of all things, guiding the evolution of the human intelligence through the channels of intuition and expanded conscious perception. Duality Duality means two states, two poles, both of which arise from a division of unity. Most people perceive life from polar opposites. From duality perception, we formulate self-attaching desires and opinions; all from the separated self. As the pendulum of thought swings in one direction, it always comes back to the opposite direction to balance the pole. This is the Law of Duality. Equanimity Equanimity is the state of inner stability arising from a deep awareness and the acceptance of what each moment is presenting. From this composure, we live life in the eternal now with an evenness of mind that is undisturbed and unattached to anything of the temporary world. Emergence This is the state of complete Soul union. We have resurrected ourselves into a greatly expanded conscious awareness. Our personal will is completely surrendered to Divine Will. There is unwavering mastery over the personality body including the mental and emotional faculties. We are no longer swayed by the material world and its illusions of duality. We live from the Absolute Reality while continuing to serve the fulfillment of the highest potential of humanity. This is symbolic of the phoenix rising from the ashes. Flower of Life Referred to as sacred geometry, the Flower of Life is a geometrical shape composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles arranged in a flower like pattern with six fold symmetry like a hexagon. The symbol can be found in ancient manuscripts, temples and art throughout many cultures of the world. It has perfect form, proportion and harmony and is said to represent the basic underlying pattern found in all of creation. Forcefield As an enlightened collective consciousness, we are empowering, together, a massive and influential forcefield of energy and a new system of consciousness exchange. This field of energy is a living intelligent entity. All people connected into this purified matrix of energy are greatly supported and increasingly transformed as it gains in prominence and strength. See Unity Matrix. 8Goodwill We are referring to an attitude of basic goodness, kindness, friendliness, benevolence and the sincere willingness to help and cooperate with others. It is through the cultivation of a collective attitude of Goodwill that planetary peace efforts may be assisted. When the majority of people are being rapidly oriented towards “good”, a will to do good arises. Group Avatar This term expresses an evolved group consciousness as one with the Divine Presence. An Avatar is someone who has transcended human limitations and selflessly serves to assist others into a new conscious perception of unlimited potential. There are numerous people on Earth who have liberated their consciousness from limitations and the pull of matter-bound consciousness. I AM that I AM I AM is a name referring to the Divine Presence. I AM that I AM is an affirmation that the divine in each of us is part of the totality of God. In our shifting awareness, we are manifesting the outward expression of the I AM that I AM as purified and enlightened group consciousness. Karma The law of karma puts us at the center of responsibility for everything we do and everything that is done to us. Karma is the cycle of cause and effect. It is the result of our actions, whether positive or negative. This energy cycles around an comes back to us. There is an expression, “what we sow is what we reap”. Kodoish, Kodoish, Kodoish, Adonai Tsebayoth This is a mantra that means Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God of Hosts. As a mantra for initiation and spiritual alignment, it ties all of the rhythms of the body together with the spiritual rhythms of the group consciousness. When it is chanted, it acknowledges the interconnectivity of all life, creating unified resonance between all levels of creation and Source energy. 9Masters of Wisdom These are the beings who once walked on the Earth and achieved complete self-mastery over the pull of matter. They ascended their vibrational frequencies to reside now in greater dimensional states of consciousness. They remain with us in service, guiding and supporting humanity’s evolution. In other spiritual traditions, they are also referred to as our elders, the ancient ones, spirit guides and ascended masters. Pineal Gland The pineal gland is a pinecone shaped gland of the endocrine system that produces several important hormones including melatonin. Located in the middle of the brain, it is the connecting link between the physical and spiritual worlds. Referred to as the “spiritual eye”, this is where the individualized cosmic energy is held within our body. We are this light compacted. Realms of Light This refers to the dimensions of consciousness that vibrate at a quicker frequency than our Earth realm. It is also commonly referred to as the heavens, the celestial realms and universal awareness.RenunciationThis means to let go of, to release, to relinquish hold and attachment. During the Rites of Passage, we are renouncing our attachments to the physical reality. This primarily has to do with emotional and mental attachments and that which causes us to be limited in our conscious perceptions. Rites of Passage As a self-initiating course of study, The Rites of Passage program brings awareness and understanding to some of the requirements necessary to attain higher evolution. Its purpose is to help awaken soul remembrance. Transfiguration This is a process of transformation that actually trans-figures, or changes our entire appearance and framework of being, on the level of the human personality. It is a complete metamorphosis and can be likened to the caterpillar changing into a butterfly. Soul The Soul is the linking or middle principle, representing the relation between spirit and matter; the link between God, the Divine Presence and the human form. The Soul is that which provides consciousness, character and quality to all manifestations in form. It has also been the inner guide of the human personality. Soul Union This is when the human personality and the incarnated Soul fuse to become one unified being here on Earth. We achieve Soul union when we have completely mastered our human personality including our physical, emotional, and mental natures. When we are living our life from the perspective and consciousness of Divine Principle. 10Unified Field The Unified Field is the basic underlying and uniting force of the universe and the single most catalytic force in propelling the planetary consciousness shift. It is a scientifically proven intelligent field of energy, multidimensional in nature, that permeates all space connecting human consciousness and even energetically bridges our planet with the cosmos. Universal Laws These are the laws or principles by which everything in the Universe is governed. The Universe exists by virtue of these Laws, which forms its framework. Knowing these Universal Laws is fundamental to changing the circumstances of your life so that you can consciously create your intended reality and achieve true self-mastery. Universal Light (aka the Sacred Fire) This is a highly concentrated activity of transforming light, a luminous radiation that is qualified with specific focuses of Divine Perfection. It is a mighty current of energy that, when consciously invoked, has directing intelligence in its countless forms of expression. Unity Consciousness, Group Consciousness This state of awareness no longer perceives from a lens of duality but sees and understands the beauty and perfection in all things. Unity Consciousness understands the oneness of all life and neutrally observes from a state of peaceful compassion and non-judgmental love. It regards the equality of all beings. Unity Grid The Unity Grid, also referred to as the Crystalline Grid and the Grid of Light, is a pathway of energy that connects the higher consciousness of humans all over the world. It serves as a transitory bridge, evolving the human race into expanded levels of conscious perception. The purpose of this energetic lattice is to help raise the collective consciousness from the program of separation, conflict and suffering and into a truer reality of unity and harmony with all life. Vibration In its simplest form, vibration is the rate of oscillation around an equilibrium position. At a spiritual level, vibration is the rate of spin of the electrons as they move around the nucleus of the atom. To increase this rate, we must have more light within our cells.
