PRESENT YOUR MATTER TO JESUS Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” When you present your matter to God, He will put His peace into your heart. When you present your matter or case to Jesus, you open the door for God to be involved in your matter; when Jesus is involved in your matter, that matter is settled. Who is involved in your matter determines who you are in face of life’s uncertainties. I mean, what you become depends on how much you involve God in your matter. Have you taken the step to involve Him more in your matter? Have you presented your matter to Him? The sinful woman in the book of Luke 7 made a decision to present her matter to Jesus. Although she was afflicted with many weaknesses, bad characters and habits that could stop her from presenting her matter to Jesus, she had the vision that, ‘If I could just present my matter to Jesus I know that my matter would be settled.’ After presenting her matter to Jesus, Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven… Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” PRAYER: Lord, Jesus Christ, if I can just present my matter to You, I know my matter will be settled. Thank You for being involved in my matter; my heart knows that the matter is settled, in Jesus’ name!
