Maku revealed in a press briefing that the sacked ministers were relieved of their appointment in order for them to pursue their individual and political ambitions. The names of the appointees include the Minister of State for Trade and Investments, Samuel Ortom, to oversee of the Ministry of Aviation vacated by Stella Oduah, Darius Isiaku takes over as the Minister of Niger Delta Affiars while the Minister of State for the FCT, Olajumoke Akinjide, oversees the Ministry of Police Affairs.
