PRESIDENT BLAISE COMPAORE OF BURKINA FASO to run for a third term after 27 years in power. The parliamentary building has been set ablazed after trying to alter/amend the constitution for the president. Just few days ago, ROBERT MUGABE OF ZIMBABWE was said to be planning to hand over the mantle of leadership to his wife, GRACIA MUGABE after the husband has ruled the country since 1980. Well, am not atonished that wife of president is ready to take over power from mr Mugabe becos even here, Dame PFJ is already anionting candidates for power when she does not have the constitutional rights to do so. African leaders are power drunk. Despite the serious health condition of SATA MICHAEL OF ZAMBIA, he sill held power tenaciously until death separated him from power. It was said that he died in London for an undisclosed illness at the age of 77. African leaders should learn not to lead with impunity. PRESIDENT COMPAORE Should learn from the fall of MAMMAR GHADDAFI OF LIBYA and conduct a free, fair and peacful election for new crops of leaders to build from where he stop. Integrity, transparency, accountability, service to the people should be their watchword when they find themselves in power.
