PRESIDENT MAY THINK DIKEMBE DISEMBE’S ARREST IS POLITICAL A country that was once filled with faithfulness in 2002 and had her people voted the most optimistic in the world was again voted the most disillusioned lot in 2013 it might be worse in 2014. We have plundered our peoples resources; we have taken other people’s rightful ancestral lands, they have rebelled, we have not listened, we think its politics. We have given state jobs to the chosen few, we have promised youth Government contracts that they can’t access. We have sent our youth away from police recruitment because they don’t have just a tooth and some because they are too bright they have B (plain and above). Our youth roam around our country sipping cheap “countryman”; we have treated them like unemployed third rate non citizens in their own country. They are hitting forties and frustrations have kept them at bay from having families of their own highly educated or not. You think they are not bitter at all we think its politics We have leaders who are friends of thieves; they have grabbed land even from the peasants to add to their vast estates. We have kept large pieces of land to ourselves, there are no more places for our people to squat and they are taking up arms against us to create spaces for themselves. We have told our people that they are not worth being in leadership positions because of some uncut skin in some part of their body. The level of arrogance has reached 20yrs hold of power #WethikItsPolitics. Our leaders and us, we pretend we don’t know the truth. We don’t want to call this spade a spade, we insist it’s a spoon and those who call the spade by its name we lock them up at Industrial area or told to record statements in Kiambu CID headquarters with the hopes that they will exit stage and let us run the show, ironically, those that propagate tribalism, land grabbing and corruption never record statements and are not locked up at Industrial area, they are the men of the moment. It’s our time to eat Our president also think like us, of course #WeAreOne, we are all the same. He thinks its politics. Even after we have given him the TRUTH JUSTICE AND RECONCILIATION REPORT, THE NDUNGU REPORT, and so many more he sits on them, He has never thought it’s wise to mention TJRC in any of his speeches two years in office yet because there is no truth in the reports, he thinks its politics Even as we continue to think its politics, we should put it to ourselves that we are near doomed in this hungry Nation of ours, our thinking “its politics” is fast dragging us down. We continue rebelling against the truth and give it a new name of our convenience “hate speech” But Almighty says how , “A day will come when pride will be wiped…. you will wither like a dying oak, like a garden that no one waters, just as a straw that is set on fire by a spark, so powerful people will be destroyed by their own evil deed and no one will be able to stop you” Jasuba Jakamao
