PRESS CENTRE **LADIES LEAGUE FEATURED GAME** Tonights featured game was a cracking encounter as these two excellent sides shared 24 goals. The Tight Calves romped into an 8-0 lead in the opening stages of the game with Eimear OHerlihy and Claire Dunne running the show in the early stages. Southside Utd, inspired by Roidin Crowley and Mel and a couple of loan signings stunningly roared back into contention and took a 10-9 lead in the closing stages of the game. We were in store for even more drama as in the dying minutes of the game, The Tight Calves came from behind and took the victory, their star player on the night was Eimear OHerlihy who scored 4 goals and picked up the Player of the Match gong, she won herself a FREE bottle of Lucozade.This was a very enjoyable game from start to finish and we look forward to next week!
