PRESS RELEASE 2014 Annual Business Survey Greetings and best wishes for a productive and prosperous 2015. During the latter weeks of 2014 all businesses on register would have received the Annual Business Survey package through the post or via email. We are once again requesting your assistance, in the production of the 2014 National Accounts (NA), Balance of Payments (BOP) and for the first year the International Investment Position (IIP) estimates for Anguilla. The data supplied in the returned and completed NA, BOP and IIP survey forms becomes confidential once received by the ASD. The protection of your data is legislated and guaranteed under the Statistics Act of Anguilla, Chapter S60, which also makes the completion of the form(s) mandatory and subjected to penalties if not returned. Amongst the criminal offences created under the Act, in particular section 18(b) makes it an offence to refuse or neglect to fill up and supply the particulars required and section 19 provides for punishment including an initial $3,000 fine with imprisonment in default of payment. Your data will be added to that of other businesses to present an economic picture of activity during 2014 and no one will be able to identify your data that was provided to the Anguilla Statistics Department. If you have not received your form(s) to date or require a blank form, please contact or collect a form the ASD. Forms can be collected from the ASD or delivered to you via email. If you are in receipt of this form and your business was not operating during the period under review - 2014, kindly let us know as soon as possible so that the necessary administrative arrangements can be made. If you have regularized your business status with the ASD; that is informed us and signed the necessary documents stating the inactivity of your business we sincerely apologize if you received a form. If this is the please indicate such to us.
