PRESS RELEASE December 30, 2014 On December 23, 2014 Ashley Anne Banks, 18, with no fixed address was charged on a criminal citation with trespassing. Officers responded to the Comfort Inn on Ocean Gateway for a patron who would not check out. The patron, Banks, would not pay for another night or leave the room. Banks was uncooperative with police but was taken into custody. Banks was released after being issued the citation. On December 26, 2014 an officer responded to Hertrich Ford on Ocean Gateway for the theft of three truck tailgates. The tailgates were stolen sometime between 3:00 PM on December 24 and 10:20 AM on December 26, 2014. The tailgates were taken from three Ford F250 model trucks and the total value is over $10,000.00 due to the tailgates having electronics such as back up cameras.
