PRESS RELEASE: European Culinary Season attracts 24 participating restaurants and culinary establishments offering gastronomic treats from nine European countries. Launch on 13 May at Aubergine Fine Dining Restaurant in Global City The month of May, in Filipino parlance, is often associated with fiestas, fun, celebrations and merrymaking – from the Santacruzan in every corner of the Philippines to the turumba from Pakil to the Pahiyas from Lucena. In all these festivities, food culture is always an essential element. Taking its cue from these Filipino traditions the European Union Cultural Group made up of European Embassies and Cultural Institutes, in partnership with Aubergine Restaurant and its wine partners – Ruffino, Artisan Cellars Werdenberg International Corp., Le Cellier French Wine Selection, Philippine Wine Merchants, Sommelier Selections, will launch today the 2014 European Culinary Season in Bonifacio Global City.
